Our Story of Generational Love
From a single act of mercy in East Africa to a growing movement — we exist to pass love, mercy, and opportunity from one generation to the next.
When Charity Becomes Legacy
Ukoo Love Foundation began when humanitarian workers witnessed something profound: the most lasting change happened not when we helped people once — but when we helped them help others.
The word Ukoo comes from Swahili, meaning lineage, heritage, and generation. It captures our deepest conviction: compassion is inherited, multiplied, and passed forward.
"We help people so they can help others."
Headquartered in Kampala, Uganda, with our Nairobi office opening soon in Utawala, we work alongside local schools, churches, and community leaders. Our supporters span East Africa and the global diaspora — united by one mission.
- Community-led programs in education, livelihood, and girl-child dignity
- Safeguarding-first culture for every child we serve
- Radical transparency — 92% of funds to programs
- Volunteers and partners who multiply mercy locally

A World Where Love Travels Through Generations
We envision communities where every person touched by compassion becomes a bearer of hope for the next — creating unbroken chains of dignity, opportunity, and mercy.
MissionEmpower. Equip. Multiply.
We empower communities through education, livelihood skills, and dignified support for girls — equipping every beneficiary to serve others and multiply compassion across generations.
Cycle of Compassion
Every Ukoo Love program follows the same rhythm — receive help, grow in dignity, then pass love forward.
Meet real need
Scholarships, skills training, dignity kits, and mentorship — delivered with local partners who know their communities.
Build capacity
Beneficiaries gain skills, confidence, and support networks so change lasts beyond a single gift or visit.
Multiply mercy
Graduates mentor others, volunteer, or lead — becoming the next link in a chain of generational love.
Measure honestly
We track outcomes, publish transparently, and improve with feedback from families and community leaders.
